I got back into sewing after a brief hiatus and I started with this fabulous free pattern from Colette. The “Sorbetto” was recently re-launched with a sleeve option and a longer length. I printed the pattern last year and never got around to make it until now.
I’m absolutely in love with the simple shape and it’s perfect for the heat wave happening here in Sri Lanka. I think I might make a few more and some for my friends – it’s such a versatile and easy to make style and I highly recommend it. Go ahead, spend 2 hours and make yourself a fabulous Sorbetto
Below are my makes to beat the heat in style ❤
Till next time..
Love, Ludee xoxo
I decided to re-brand my sewing blog under the name “Ludee B”. I thought it was more personal and represent who I am more vibrantly.
Hope you all like it as much as I love it. Happy New Year to all my followers! Lets sew more this year! Cheers!
Hello Creative souls out there,
It’s almost the end of this year, and usually people make resolutions at the beginning of the year. But I am different, I make resolutions and goals whenever I feel like pushing myself.
Although I have been sewing a lot this year, I want to do a project that is constant and will give me a chance to explore more into sewing and learn new techniques. So I have decided to do a 100 me made outfits project – and the deadline will be my next birthday. Which gives me 195 days.
So here’s wishing myself, focus, perseverance and patience to finish 100 outfits in 195 days!
Until I come back with my first make..
I’ve made quite a few pieces for the past few days and I absolutely love all of them. I wish I had the time to give each one of those makes their own posts but sadly I don’t. So here’s a summary of all the pieces that I have sewed for the past couple of days. Enjoy!

Till next time..
I never thought I’ll wear a one shoulder dress, but life is quite unpredictable and I made this dress which is one of my most favorites!
I used a grey marl for the top part and a black knit for the skirt. I self drafted the pattern after being inspired by all the lovely one shoulder dresses on ASOS.com.
Hope you all like it!
Till next time,
So here’s another make of my current favorite silhouette – the pencil skirt. The fabric was sent to me by my aunt all the way from Melbourne and I absolutely love it! Enjoy!
Until Next time!
