I celebrated my birthday on the 29th of May and hosted a sewing themed party at my sewing studio. I believe birthdays are milestones to review and renew our goals in life. I am truly grateful for all the blessings that I received throughout the last year and I am proud of myself for becoming who I am today. As Sheryl Sandberg says,
“You will be defined not just by what you achieve,
But by how you survive.”
And to celebrate surviving this challenging life, I made myself a dress in one of my favorite colors and favorite fabric. Which is Pink Eyelet! I have been saving this fabric for sometime and didn’t know what to make out of it. I am extremely pleased with the outcome. The dress is fully lined in a matching cotton that I also had in my stash for years!
So without further ado, here is my beautiful pink eyelet shift dress!
Pattern – Simplicity new look 6145
Fabric – Eyelet/ Borderie Anglaise
And this is me wearing it!
I loved wearing it and hosting my party. Hope you all like it too!
Till Next time!
