The Baroque Skirt

Hello Sewcialists,

Baroque print has been ahuge trend the past few seasons and its slowly fading away now… so I thought it’s the best time for me to include a baroque style piece into my wardrobe. I don’t like to wear extremely trendy pieces for they make me feel like I’m being lost in the majority and although the trend has faded away I am happy to flaunt them in my own style bubble a few seasons later.

I used a Velvet knit fabric, added a black elastic and voila! my skirt ready for my daily runway! it took me about 45 minutes to sew this skirt and I absolutely love it. I wore it for a concert and got a lot of compliments, the best feeling ever for a sewcialist is when people ask where you get it from and you reply saying ” I made it myself”!
